The Creation of Kevin or perhaps The Destuction of Kevin and Chris?

Last Monday night the world saw a heartbreaking scene at the Festival of Friendship: Kevin Owens attacking his bestfriend Chris Jericho out of nowhere. We all know they’ll be squaring off at WrestleMania 33, but WWE completely caught everyone off-guard. And again, after seeing the connection between the two meet a bitter end, regardless if you are a fan of both Owens and Jericho or not, you can’t help but feel pity for how it all ended for these former bffs. Their acting was SUPERB and both guys pulled off a defining moment in their careers.

After seeing Y2J’s The Creation of Kevin gift to Owens, I immediately went to WWEShop.com to see if they’re releasing a shirt of that awesome edit. Sadly though, it looks like we’re not getting it, especially now that Owens and Jericho are now in a hot feud. Don’t worry though, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers got your back! I tried my best to mimic the Creation of Kevin painting to the best of my abilities so I hope you guys like it. We all wanted to have a copy of this in some form, right?

Wow. So the rumors were true after all. Bray Wyatt is heading to WrestleMania 33 as WWE Champion! And yes, fellow Wyatt Family ‘member’ Randy Orton will be waiting for him.

This is Bray Wyatt’s first ever singles championship and boy who would’ve thought it’ll be the WWE Championship right away, a very prestigious title that had been held just by a chosen few. After all these years of looking strong but losing anyway to feuds he always started, the Eater of Worlds finally validated his existence, the culmination of his strong character work and making storylines he’s involved with interesting. He may not be as phenomenal as AJ Styles in ring work  (no one probably else comes close anyway) buy he’s been solid since day 1 and can work with the best of them.

The new Face of Fear and now the new WWE CHAMPION, Bray Wyatt! Congratulations on the monumental win!

After defeating former WWE Champion AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble, John Cena finally tied Ric Flair in World Championships won in the wrestling industry. A monumental feat indeed.

Rumor has it though that Mr. Hustle, Loyalty and Respect will have his 16th reign cut short at the Elimination Chamber by Bray Wyatt to set up the Wyatt vs. Orton WrestleMania 33 clash since Cena vs. Orton for the nth time isn’t really as intriguing as it was almost a decade ago. Or maybe AJ Styles regains the WWE Championship and will have it defended against RKO. Either way, it looks like John isn’t going to WrestleMania as champ. A bit ironic and weird considering this is his 16th World Championship reign and should be a bigger deal than what the rumors suggest.

Mr. Outta Nowhere, The Viper, Randy Orton is now a 2-time WWE Royal Rumble winner. He joins a rare group of guys, the likes of Triple H, John Cena & Hulk Hogan, who won the match twice.

As for his road to WrestleMania 33, one can only wonder if we’re really going to watch another Randy Orton vs. John Cena championship match since these 2 have already went to war against each other for countless times in the past decade or so. Plus, their current storylines don’t or didn’t connect with each other on or before the Rumble so I’m guessing there might be some changes to the WWE Championship match on their road to WrestleMania. Some speculate that Bray Wyatt is somehow going to win the title at Elimination Chamber and face Randy at the biggest stage possible for the culmination of their storyline. Well, that could work except Cena’s current 16th title reign will be cut too short and AJ Styles’s loss would have been for almost nothing. I say let’s have a triple threat of Orton-Wyatt-Cena or probably a four-way with Styles included at WrestleMania 33 instead. AND NO to AJ vs. Shane WM33 match, PLEASE.

This year’s Royal Rumble match is STACKED! Right now, there are 22 announced participants so there are a couple of slots left for both minor and major surprise appearances. Samoa Joe is 99% going to show up and has a HUGE chance of winning (due to rumors), while the likes of soon-to-be Hall of Famer Kurt Angle and the possibly returning Finn Balor are 50/50 at best. And there’s Kenny Omega – though he isn’t likely going to appear unless he’s trolling everyone. Goldberg and Lesnar will probably eliminate one another. Triple H and Seth Rollins (he’ll get in one way or another!) is going to ruin each other’s chances for sure. The Undertaker has a pretty good chance of winning it too.

As for my pick, well, I have to give it to WWE for making this Rumble one of the most unpredictable yet. I believe he’s not the favorite to win it all but I have to go with Chris Jericho. With the run he’s having, Jericho SHOULD win the Royal Rumble this year and face Kevin Owens for the Universal Title at WrestleMania 33.

The renewed focus. The calculated anger. Neville is finally forcing everyone to acknowledge him.

Since returning from injury, Neville has made noise about obliteration the whole Cruiserweight division and you know, it’s entirely possible. In this division, he’s like Brock Lesnar. The recent trend of his matches doesn’t scream that though but I think they’ll get there soon. When he takes that Cruiserweight Championship from Rich Swann or anyone who’s champ, Neville will be able to validate what he’s been saying all along: He’s the King of the Cruiserweights and it’ll probably stay that way for a long time. If WWE books him right, in this division, no one can touch him.

AJ Styles IS the 2016 WWE Superstar of the Year. Period.

What a phenomenal year (pun intended) this man had. Everyone knew he can go toe to toe with the best Superstars and man did he ever. Not only that, he won WWE World Championship in his rookie year in WWE and closed out 2016 by remaining the top guy in SmackDown. NO ONE comes close to what he achieved this year alone. He’s a legitimate franchise player and hopefully, Vince takes advantage of that starting next year by making him the top face in all WWE. It’ll also allow John Cena to finally do something different (*cough* heel *cough*).
