Matt and Jeff Hardy are back in WWE television via NXT-TNA partnership. The duo are currently the TNA World Tag Team Champions, and because of the collaboration between the 2 companies, it was only a matter of time before they show up again—and show up they did this past Tuesday. Expect more appearances from the Hardyz this year, as they get acclimated again to WWE programming. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they’re back full time in RAW or SmackDown after WrestleMania season. The exposure for the TNA tag titles would also be enormous if Jeff and Matt stay in TNA’s roster. Heck, an invasion angle might be something in the works, right?

It was truly a WONDERFUL return for the Broken Hardy Boyz.
WrestleMania 33 marked another chapter in the Hardys storied careers as they won the RAW Tag Team Championships. Before that though, there were rumors already flying around about the Broken Hardyz showing up though the fans weren’t really optimistic about it, given their current stint in ROH and their ongoing legal battle against Impact Wrestling. Well, WE GOT SWERVED..AND IT WAS OH SO WONDERFUL!
Right now, the Hardy Boyz are currently in a retro run. When the nostalgia wears off, we can only hope that the Broken Hardys will be good to go by then. I’m intrigued to see what Matt and Brother Nero have in store for the Broken Universe. Don’t get me wrong though, I LOVE their current run as the good, ol’ Hardy Boyz. Team Xtreme baby!
Despite TNA’s financial situation, there’s something, mostly positive, going for them – Broken Matt Hardy. His ‘Broken’ character is really creative and even had gotten the attention of non-TNA Wrestling fans. I must admit I thought it was a disaster of a persona at first..but now it’s even putting Jeff Hardy, or Brother Nero in this instance, on the backseat. Who would’ve thought that’s even possible, right?
There are questions and rumors about Bound for Glory regarding its status. If the show is ready to go in a few hours, the Broken Hardys will be facing Decay for the TNA Tag Team Championships, the bout Broken Matt dubbed as “The Great War”. Win or lose, the brothers have changed the wrestling landscape industry once again. If TNA gets bought by Billy Corgan or WWE, it’ll be interesting to see the fate of these two come monday.
With Brother Nero and his ‘family’ on his side, Broken Matt can conquer the wrestling world in a way that no one has ever done before, literally.
After outlasting Samoa Joe, a shoulder-to-post attack by Aces and Eights and Bully Ray at the Bound for Glory Series final, Jeff Hardy has finally earned the right to face Austin Aries at TNA Bound for Glory. As much as Bully Ray deserves to be on that main event, I can see why Hardy was the one chosen. This should be a really good matchup as these competitors are both hard workers and really have a great relationship with the TNA fans. They’re TNA’s biggest draws. I would like to see some heated storyline between the two though I’m afraid this will be all about respect at the end of the day. Here’s a thought, what if Austin Aries is the leader of Aces and Eights and not Bully Ray? Will this play out on the road to BFG or will they do something on the event itself, much like the “they” storyline last year? Leader or not though, I can see Aries retaining. He’s had a good run as champion.
