Being one of the last soldiers or old pillars of the black and gold NXT, Tommaso Ciampa continues to prove why he’s not going anywhere, despite a slew of NXT newcomers threatening to ‘erase’ what’s left of the previous era. Even a stud such as Bron Breakker will have to try again to unseat the current NXT Champion. Ciampa is trying to delay the inevitability of passing the torch to the next generation. The man has been to countless wars, and his experience will always be his trump card. Until then, Goldie remains at the arms of the one and only Tommaso Ciampa.
Joining his girlfriend Britt Baker in AEW, Adam Cole is ready to prove once again that he’s someone a serious wrestling promotion can build up on. Despite what the haters say about his size, they can’t deny that this man is super talented not only with his skills but character-wise, too. WWE missed out big time on securing his services for RAW or SmackDown, especially now that they’re severely lacking in main event talent. AEW has completely done a great job of building a new home for talents such as Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson and Ruby Soho.
The former Undisputed Era leader is now All Elite, and you know it’s all about the BOOM! Adam Cole BAY BAY!
What a time to be a pro wrestling fan, right? With Adam Cole (BAY BAY!) also showing up at AEW All Out, the professional wrestling landscape is shaping up to be one of the best in decades, all thanks to AEW being unafraid to pack their roster with some of the biggest names in wrestling history (and WWE for letting these guys go lol). Even though I’m a lifetime WWE fan, part of me wants to see AEW succeed in a big way and kick some sense into Vince and co. More than anything else, I’m just happy that AEW has now gained ground and quickly becoming an alternative for wrestling fans all over the world. Bryan Danielson, the leader of the YES movement, one of the pioneers in breaking that WWE ‘mold’, will only strengthen that narrative by doing his magic at All Elite Wrestling.
Quick mobile wallpaper and poster for the The Second City Savior, CM Punk! Exciting times not just for AEW fans but all professional wrestling fans all over the world!
UPDATE: Due to a couple of requests, this wallpaper is now also available at 4K, Retina, HD and iPad resolutions!
Oh yes. What a time to be a wrestling fan again, with AEW on a roll, Impact partnering with other promotions, fans back in the arena chanting and just purely enjoying the shows, and WWE throwing the big names (and matchups) for this year’s WWE SummerSlam. Edge vs. Rollins is a sure bet. Perhaps Lashley and a returning Goldberg being announced tomorrow? But heck, it doesn’t get any bigger than a possible Universal Championship between 2 icons: John Cena vs. Roman Reigns. It’s only a matter of formal announcement, since it has been rumored for months now that Cena is being penciled for a match against the Head of the Table this summer.
It’s always good for the business when someone like John Cena wrestle again and help solidify active WWE talents. Roman Reigns would still probably retain though.
Whatever the outcome is, we all win. MITB was really good, and it makes me hopeful that WWE can keep the momentum going with a superb SummerSlam event.
Remember them NBA, rap, and Attitude/Nitro era shirts?? Yup, it’s weirdly making a comeback, especially on streetwear shirts. Today’s wallpaper features that throwback design style. Straight from Firefly Funhouse Match, NWO John Cena is added here to the core trio of Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Too Sweet eh?
Cap off the NWO week by downloading this NWO wallpaper in 4K, HD, Retina and mobile resolutions!
The Rated R Superstar is back once again! The grizzled veteran is gunning for the Universal Championship once more, and Roman Reigns isn’t happy about it. Armed with a new ‘iconoclast’ mindset, Edge might just be able to do the unthinkable and finally dethrone the Head of the Table at this year’s Money in the Bank PPV.
4K, Retina and HD resolutions are back on this shirt-inspired wallpaper. Grab it now!
Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship reign has been so dominant that he essentially went through all the main event faces the whole SmackDown roster has to offer, even ‘ending’ Daniel Bryan’s stint on the blue brand with another successful title defence this week. The “Tribal Chief” created one of his best runs in his HOF-caliber resume for the past year. He added this incredible dimension to his previously stale character, and he absolutely killed it. Now that he’s built up this boss-level status, there’s only one way to solidify the establishment of this monster heel persona–being beaten by an up and coming face that has momentum on his side. Yep, Cesaro winning the Universal Championship from Roman Reigns (and avenging Daniel Bryan at the same time) would complete the Head of the Table’s first championship run.
As to whether Roman Reigns reverts back to being a face this year or not is anyone’s guess right now. I would like to think that he won’t do it anytime soon. Maybe reserve that after he battles The Rock at WrestleMania.
