CM Punk’s return to WWE has reignited the fire of controversy and excitement that has always surrounded him. His confrontations and promos against Drew McIntyre have been a blast, starting from funny jabs to making each others lives a living hell. He’s proving that the “Best in the World” still has plenty left in the tank. CM Punk is slowly, but surely getting his groove back.
Punk is a draw, no one can deny that. His longevity and uncanny ability to spark conversation across the wrestling world cannot be overstated. Whether fans love or hate him, his presence demands attention. Having CM Punk as the face of WWE 2K25 would be a fitting way to celebrate his return to the bright lights of WWE.

This CM Punk wallpaper was requested a few months back when it first came out. I was able to finally muster strength to work on this, and I’m glad with the result. Made a couple of edits in here, using the font from CM Punk’s Hell Froze Over wallpaper and making the lightning fists / forearms larger than the official WWE merchandise design. Hope you guys like this one!

It’s still fun watching CM Punk and Drew McIntyre being in each other’s throats for half the year! This photo that Drew McIntyre tweeted (him together with AEW’s Jack Perry aka Jungle Boy)—which was later deleted was an “elite” troll move! For those who know the history, these fans were absolutely cracking up, including myself of course lol. It was later revealed that CM Punk green lit this post to further enhance their already-hot feud. Man, that was really something. I LOVE IT!

So, with ‘that’ footage being shown, what good it did do for them? It felt petty. Trying to tie it to a current feud felt forced. I dunno man, it seemed like they just reinforced what CM Punk said on Ariel Helwani’s podcast.
Curious how CM Punk or WWE will respond, I don’t think they will, but Drew McIntyre might turn it into something funny! I’ll wait for that one!

I’ve absolutely enjoyed CM Punk’s appearances on RAW, SmackDown and NXT so far. The promo he just cut last Friday on SmackDown? Man, in terms of crowd control, chants response and how he blurred the line between shoot and work, that was on a level no one in WWE right now can even touch. Not LA Knight, not Seth Rollins, and not even Cody Rhodes. The Rock and John Cena, sure. But as far as active competitors are concerned, bar none. And that’s the reason why CM Punk is 100% right: he’s the monkey wrench in everyone’s plans and futures.
Be ready for a hell of a ride, this is looking like it’s gonna be a legendary run for The Best In The World.

Fans have been speculating wildly whether CM Punk is The Devil in AEW (MJF version), or if he’s showing up at Survivor Series tonight and makes a triumphant return to WWE. At this point, with all the subtle hints and clue disputes, I guess we’ll just have to see for ourselves.
