We still haven’t got the answers as to why Dean did what he did. As painfully obvious as it was, it was truly just a matter of time before he turned heel..and as Seth Rollins said this past Monday Night RAW, he did it on the most memorable day in the whole history of The Shield. It didn’t make sense to me at first, but after some thinking, I’m glad WWE pulled the trigger on the night we least expected it. Now that Ambrose is back to being a bastard villain, we’re going to be treated to another exciting Rollins-Ambrose feud. The Soulless Lunatic vs. The Architect. Even the most hardcore of fans wouldn’t pass that up.
Mr. 619 is officially back on the blue brand starting today, just in time for SmackDown 1000. Can’t wait to see what will be in store for Rey moving forward. Imagine matchups with the likes of Andrade Cien Almas, Daniel Bryan, Samoa Joe and of course, the reigning WWE Champion AJ Styles. SmackDown Live is where its at!

This pairing, for the most part, has dominated the most of the competition during Monday nights. Some say they’re the modern version of HBK and Diesel. Well, how about they’re the first of a kind? Ziggler and McIntyre are slowly but surely establishing themselves as legitimate top-tier performers on RAW today. Everybody thought it was an odd pairing at first, but when they started to hit that ZigZag-Claymore combination finisher (one of the coolest finishers right now), we knew there was something special in this partnership. And what do you know? They’re the RAW Tag Team Champs in a division that was a laughing stock just a few weeks ago. With these two holding the tag titles though? That’s a different story. Any team who unseats them will definitely have a big boost in their favor. Until then, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler will be sitting pretty at the top of the Tag Team division for the foreseeable future. Even the Shield won’t break their title run anytime soon, I hope..?
Currently, Becky Lynch is one of the most over in the WWE Superstars in the SmackDown/RAW rosters. Even though she’s being portrayed as a heel against her former best friend Charlotte, majority of the WWE Universe are still behind her. The SmackDown Live Womens Champion became a collateral damage because of how this feud was booked. Regardless, IT IS working for Becky (not so much for Charlotte though) so I still have faith in this storyline and truth be told, I’m even more interested in this than AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe. Would it be a double turn in the end? Who knows. Becky as a badass heel like she is now? I totally dig it.
Imagine Seth Rollins, in his Thanos outfit, winning the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar instead of Roman Reigns. Man, that would be something. I’m not complaining though. The Architect is once again the Intercontinental Champion and that means we’d be seeing great Intercontinental Championship defenses going forward. It’s almost a foregone conclusion that today will be the last day of Brock Lesnar’s pitiful Universal Championship reign..and Roman Reigns will be the one to dethrone him (coz Vince said so). As mentioned a few weeks back, I would’ve love Seth Rollins to be the man to finally win the strap from The Beast but here we are. Right now, anyone would take Roman Reigns as champion instead of the part-timer. There’s a trick to it though.
WWE has teased us with a Heyman-Reigns partnership and boy did it look good. You may say that it was just a plan by Paul for a staged attack by Brock, but you can clearly see in his facial expressions that he’s trying to send the Big Dog a cryptic message-that at this point, they need each other. They’re both ‘drowning’ and the only way they can come out of this as winners is to form an unholy alliance. Plus, Brock Lesnar didn’t attack Paul a couple of weeks ago just for the heck of it. WWE planted the seeds. Now, they just need to decide where to finally go with the turn or not.
You don’t need to have an MITB cash-in tonight for things to get interesting in the Universal Championship picture. We just need to see the Roman Reigns-Paul Heyman partnership materialize.
Arguably the biggest heel on the wrestling planet today, Tommaso Ciampa has cemented himself as one of the very best villains in WWE history. Now, he’s the man on top of NXT and that’s the perfect way to rub it in everyone’s faces that he’s our NXT Champion and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. With Johnny Gargano and, now, Aleister Black in this championship mix, it’ll only add intrigue as to how everything will unfold in the next couple of months. The Ciampa-Gargano seems far from over by any means so Triple H and co. might be milking this until the fans can’t take it anymore. Right now though, we wouldn’t mind another bout between the two especially now reports have surfaced that Aleister just sustained a groin injury that might sideline him for a couple of weeks. Bad timing for him since he might not be able to use his rematch clause at this month’s NXT Takeover. Hopefully he recovers in record time as it’ll be a shame if he wouldn’t be able to compete at the PPV especially while this 3-way feud is still going hot.

Randy Orton has embraced his dark side again, and I mean REALLY DARK side. After almost ripping Jeff Hardy’s ear off, fans were excited to see this side of Randy again. The sadistic, merciless apex predator that he is was shown in his classic form. It was truly vintage Orton.
He has effectively shelved Jeff Hardy (storyline-wise) and now it looks like he’s also gunning for Shinsuke Nakamura, probably going for the US Championship. Both are heels so it’ll be interesting if RKO will be a tweener moving forward or if he’s 100% heel. Whatever his intentions are or his persona will be, you can bet that The Viper’s venom has returned. This is how you perfectly showcase Randy Orton.
Kane’s a face again for the nth time and this time around, he decided to reunite with Daniel Bryan even though the Big Red Machine attempted to end Bryan’s career a few years back. Seems like they were put back together just for the nostalgia act, not because the Bludgeon Brothers were their common enemies. At the end of the day though, DBry is being kept out of a major Miz feud until WrestleMania or perhaps as early as SummerSlam so I can see why we’re seeing this program-and that’s why I think Team Hell No won’t be winning the SmackDown tag team titles anytime soon. There’s always that upcoming Miz feud lurking around. Plus, Rowan and Harper have dominated the SD tag division so that’s probably the reason why Team Hell No is back.
Daniel Bryan and Kane are back as Team HELL NO and the WWE Universe love it. Should’ve been Team Hell Yes though, right?
