John Cena WWE 2K25 Custom Cover (Scroll down to see the download link)
Could John Cena star in another WWE 2K cover and be the WWE 2K25 cover Superstar? It’s hard to imagine a better candidate. A reputation as one of the most iconic figures in wrestling history, Cena’s legend status speaks for itself. His upcoming retirement tour makes this the perfect moment to put him front and center. From his incredible work ethic to his deep connection with the WWE Universe, John Cena embodies everything a cover star should be – the ultimate tribute to a career that has defined an era!
It might still be early, but I’m already feelin’ the Royal Rumble season! It is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing and anticipated events in WWE history, as the winner on the Mens Rumble potentially becomes the chosen one (literally) to finally dethrone Roman Reigns as Undisputed Champion at WrestleMania 39. Also, it’s a toss-up between Becky Lynch or Rhea Ripley since these two have the most momentum right now. Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey is already a lock, so Becky might not even need to win the Women’s Rumble, as Rhea will certainly benefit more from it. Charlotte is also in the play, as she’s almost certain to come back at the event and possibly score another Rumble win. Sasha Banks might be a long shot right now, but with HHH at the helm, you can never be so sure. A lot can happen between now and up to January 28, 2023.
Speaking of the Road to WrestleMania 39, there’s talk about the Tribal Chief defending both his titles in separate WrestleMania nights, with either the WWE Championship or Universal Championship in night 1, and the other in night 2. I dig it. Here’s why.
Rumors are circling around that The Rock is being considered to win next year’s Royal Rumble. You can have him go after the Universal Championship, since he hasn’t won that one yet. That’s a money-making move in WWE’s part, since it’ll definitely cross mainstream media and bring more eyes to the product. However, as far as building a new megastar is concerned, I’d rather go with Cody Rhodes or Sami Zayn. For Cody, the story writes itself, not to mention he also has a little bit of mainstream/Hollywood appeal. Sami Zayn—we all know how this can play out. Him and Kevin Owens can go after the Usos for the Tag Team Championships and there’s nothing wrong with that..but I prefer that Sami goes ‘Solo’ on this one and become the ultimate babyface for WWE, 2023 and beyond. Have either Sami or Cody challenge for Roman’s WWE Championship. Another scenario is for Roman to retain against The Rock, then the next night (post-WrestleMania RAW), have Sami somehow get a title shot against Roman and he beats him for the Universal Championship. Imagine how hot the crowd will be for that one!
Next year’s Royal Rumble is shaping up to be a treat to WWE Universe. John Cena—believed to be announcing his Royal Rumble entry at the end of the year, Kevin Owens and even Solo Sikoa could potentially win the event, long shot as it may be for them. As for my personal picks, I’ll go with those who have built quite a momentum this year: Rhea Ripley and Sami Zayn. Becky Lynch and Cody Rhodes are already main event players, they’ll find a way to become champions somehow.
It’s time for HHH to prove that he can create future WWE icons, and next year’s Rumble is the perfect place for him to do it.
Oh yes. What a time to be a wrestling fan again, with AEW on a roll, Impact partnering with other promotions, fans back in the arena chanting and just purely enjoying the shows, and WWE throwing the big names (and matchups) for this year’s WWE SummerSlam. Edge vs. Rollins is a sure bet. Perhaps Lashley and a returning Goldberg being announced tomorrow? But heck, it doesn’t get any bigger than a possible Universal Championship between 2 icons: John Cena vs. Roman Reigns. It’s only a matter of formal announcement, since it has been rumored for months now that Cena is being penciled for a match against the Head of the Table this summer.
It’s always good for the business when someone like John Cena wrestle again and help solidify active WWE talents. Roman Reigns would still probably retain though.
Whatever the outcome is, we all win. MITB was really good, and it makes me hopeful that WWE can keep the momentum going with a superb SummerSlam event.
The ending segment between John Cena vs. The Fiend was perfectly executed (and taped). It had a superb John Cena promo, with bits of fourth wall breaking lines mixed in it, surprisingly. Having these empty arena promos really adds more intensity to them and somewhat makes them more real. Then, The Fiend showed up-and Bray Wyatt just behind John Cena, giving the WWE Universe watching at home a bit of a jump scare. This was done really, really well. I LOVED every second of this segment which is why I got inspired to do this quick WWE wallpaper featuring the WrestleMania 36 Firefly Funhouse match between these two titans. Hope you guys like it!
Hi everyone, it has been one hell of a month. The whole world is suffering from the COVID-19 coronavirus, and to be honest, I haven’t been able to get any motivation to create wrestling wallpapers. WrestleMania season and no one has been able to enjoy it, not even the performers themselves. With last minute booking chaanges, WWE Superstars being unable to compete at the last minute, WrestleMania 36 being TAPED (who would’ve thought that’s possible, right?), it has been nothing but a disaster, in whatever standpoint you’d like to put your shoes on.
Nonetheless, I still went on and made this WrestleMania 36 wallpaper. There are a lot of superstars/matchups that weren’t included here either because there’s little to zero storyline investment in them or they were filler matches. No Roman Reigns here of course, if you don’t want to be spoiled, tune in this coming Friday and you’ll know why. Goldberg gets a pass, simply because he’s defending the Universal Championship. While SmackDown became WWE’s flagship show, RAW has been consistently putting good (if not great) shows almost every week the latter part of Q1 and we can all thank Paul Heyman for that. Storylines have more depth, and most of them took months of development (ex. Owens vs. Rollins). So, most of the matchups featured here are from the RAW side of things.
Keep safe everyone, and stay home. Watch more wrestling shows, if you must.
I’ll be pushing poster sized-designs from now on. The 16:9 and 16:10 resolutions will still be available but won’t always be the basis for the designs I’ll be making. We’re starting that move with this wallpaper featuring John Cena vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania 34. Even though Cena’s gunning for his 17th World Title at WWE Fastlane, there’s almost no chance in hell for him that match. Expect The Undertaker to accept John Cena’s challenge at the PPV itself or the RAW after. Sorry Roman, Undertaker isn’t done yet.
To be honest, I find Cena’s WrestleMania desperate attempts storyline more compelling than the Universal Championship scene. I guess Vince is really trying hard to make sure Reigns doesn’t get booed out of the building at WrestleMania 34.
The megamatch that was originally rumored to be part of WrestleMania 34 will instead come early at WWE No Mercy. We’re not sure why but there must be some good reason behind it. Besides, WWE has no problems doing multiple rematches so I won’t be surprised if this match happens again next year at WrestleMania, with the Universal Championship on the line. Right now, it’s about being the man in the WWE.
At this point, there’s no hope to turn John Cena heel anymore. With Reigns though, it is certainly possible. Just pull the trigger WWE. He has been bastardized enough on the mic by Cena it’s not even fair. If I’m Reigns, I’d just shut up and kick John’s ass all over the arena. Let’s just get it done.
After weeks of word war, with Cena owning Reigns all the time, there’s a huge chance Roman Reigns wins round 1 at No Mercy. This won’t be a one-time thing for sure. The fans are now excited to see the match and you could just imagine the crowd reaction during the match. Rowdy might be an understatement!
