The first WWE wallpaper of 2016 here at Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is none other than the 2016 Royal Rumble wallpaper! I know I know it’s a bit late since the event will commence in just a few hours so I’m sorry about that. At least I was able to make the deadline 😛

Roman Reigns entering at no. 1 didn’t surprise any. A lot of people would be surprised though if he doesn’t win the Rumble since it looks like the WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense stipulation was made to make him look very strong heading into WrestleMania 32. With the Triple H feud looming in the background though, there’s a realistic chance that Roman’s loses the title to The Game himself and will result to a championship match at WrestleMania. I do hope that this isn’t the route WWE will go for. We need that BIG surprise. A new champ perhaps in the form of Kevin Owens? Or the sure star power bet Brock Lesnar? Daniel Bryan? What about AJ Styles winning the championship in his first day at work? There are tons of possibilities WWE can explore so that they can garner intrigue and interest on their way to WrestleMania season.

Or we can just sit back and enjoy the show later. Good times ahead!

What’s your honest opinion about this match? While the build has been horrendous, with the IC title being treated like a toy or even a hot potato, the match itself has the most potential to steal the show. It’s Bad News Barrett defending HIS Intercontinental Championship in a 7-man ladder match against these challengers: Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Stardust, Luke Harper, Dean Ambrose and Daniel Bryan. With that lineup of star power for this match, you can expect something big and memorable moment will be done. You can’t even question the match quality as far as talent goes.

So who’s your pick to win the IC title? IMO, it’s going to be either Daniel Bryan or Dean Ambrose, both of which can bring prestige back to this championship title.

PS4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15 are set to be released on November 18, 2014. That’s just a day or two, depending on your location. Heard that the last-gen versions didn’t do well so let’s hope that these current-gen iterations will blow our minds away.

The YES Movement have taken WWE (and non-wrestling events) by storm. It also pushed Daniel Bryan into a very challenging but rewarding scenario at WrestleMania XXX.

After being held back by Triple H and the corporate machine for the past 6 months, Daniel Bryan is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. He was able to lure The Game into fighting him at WM30 and of course not only that but he was able to make HHH agree to his creative stipulation: if he wins, he gets added to the main event match making it a three-way dance between him, Batista and the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. It’s not an easy road considering he needs to win first against one of the all-time greats in WrestleMania history before he gets the opportunity to win the prestigious belts and become the face of the WWE. However, as we’ve seen before from this future Hall of Famer, Daniel Bryan can work multiple matches. The dude is a total workhorse. He’d be making a historical feat when he holds the WWE World Heavyweight Championship up in the air, going through 3 household names in professional wrestling (and former members of Evolution too right?).

The guy who almost got buried in the WWE storylines is now slowly and steadily making a name for himself. We all know what Antonio Cesaro is capable of doing. Athleticism, brute strength, technical wrestling skills and good mic skills..he had them all. Heck, he was even paired with Zeb Colter and Jack Swagger to form the Real Americans and yet they were jobbing on a nightly basis. He was going nowhere until he hit that move that’s so unique and made it popular – the Cesaro swing. Now, Antonio has everyone’s attention now, from the WWE Universe to the WWE creative. ‘Sup everyone? Been a long time eh? As always, a lot of things in my life needed attention, especially the past 3 weeks. There was a Singapore trip last September and a bday/anniversary celebration with my GF last week so I’m really sorry it took me this long to get a new wallpaper up 🙂

I’m totally loving each and every RAW episode since the aftermath of SummerSlam. It’s always a treat to see angles like this when a lot of stars are being pushed and made relevant with just a single huge storyline that makes everyone look better. The Authority, as WWE loves to say, storyline has benefited not only the WWE Championship picture (Daniel Bryan-Randy Orton) but also Big Show, the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Goldust and to a lesser extent, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz – both involved in recent Randy Orton/Shield altercations. Of course, it helps Orton become the killer Viper again though he has a long way to go in regaining that form. And The Shield? These 3 are the future of WWE hands down. Triple H is now the new super heel boss that everyone wants to see get his ass kicked. Steph is Steph. You can build a solid foundation for the WWE for years to come on this angle alone, as long as they don’t rush or screw this up.

As predicted before (Orton’s short-lived championship reign), Daniel Bryan is now the WWE Champion for the 2nd time. It was quite surprising though considering the hell Bryan had to get through just to get his rematch at Night of Champions. He won with a bit of a fast count from the referee (I’ll leave that up to you guys if it was indeed a fast count or not) so expect something big tomorrow especially from Triple H. This may mean another short title run for the goat-faced champion because of that controversial count. For now though, DBry is the WWE Champion and everyone got swerved since almost no one gave him a puncher’s chance of regaining the title this soon. I’m glad WWE went with this direction. It makes the storylines unpredictable! Good job creative team.

After a 2-week hiatus, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is back with this effort-busting wallpaper featuring the Money in the Bank match for a WWE Championship contract, or better known this year as MITB All-Stars. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Kane, Christian and the returning Rob Van Dam are the included participants. I think Chris Jericho should’ve been included too (sorry Ryback). With the match named MITB All-Stars, it should be exciting and spectacular, especially since RVD and Daniel Bryan are in there. As for the winner, it’s pretty obvious that Bryan is gonna win. He’s on a hot streak right now and anything other than a Daniel Bryan win would be a letdown. CM Punk is headed for a Brock Lesnar encounter. Orton could be a wild pick though. As for Sheamus, Kane, RVD and Christian, I just don’t see them winning the briefcase this year.

So, who do you guys think will get the MITB WWE Championship contract? Whatever the outcome is, it’ll be an awesome match for sure!

Have you watched the recent RAWs and SmackDowns lately? If not, I suggest you find a recorded copy of them and watch all the matches Daniel Bryan’s been involved. He’s on a major roll right now, in-ring-wise and momentum-wise! He’s putting 5 star wrestling clinics in the past but recently, he took it to another level. It’s like he stepped on the accelerator and has no intention of hitting the brakes. D-Bry is rapidly ascending to the main event yet again. He’ll be the talk of the summer if he continues this fiery momentum he has right now. No more goat face references, no more NO!’s and no more hugging. It’s just plain Daniel Bryan kicking ass! With news and rumors about his WWE Title push this summer against John Cena coming out recently, WWE is finally making the most out of one of their precious gems in D-Bry. WWE Champion Daniel Bryan? Sounds good to me!

Speaking of goat (not the face), can you see Bryan as the G.O.A.T. in wrestling when he finally hangs his boots, just like how Michael Jordan is to basketball? I can definitely imagine saying it after a decade or two. He has all the tools to get in that conversation. Can you see it happening too or not? Anyway, that’s the theme of this wallpaper.
