In just a few hours, WWE will be holding an event here in Manila and we Pinoy fans are excited as f*ck! It has almost been a decade since WWE last came here. We’re definitely due for some kickass show!
I made this poster a few days ago in the hopes of having a chance for a meet and greet with the likes of New Day, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and John Cena. Sadly though, that possibility looks bleak now after losing a local contest that will give an opportunity for a couple of fans to meet the WWE Superstars in person. Lucky peeps they are!

2016 is just around the corner and what do you know, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is still alive and almost 10 years strong (on October 2016 to be exact)! Site won’t be anywhere near the status it has if not for the support KWW got through the years. You guys are one of the reasons why I still push myself to bring these wallpapers to you despite the late-night edits, creative walls and other roadbumps. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

One of the reasons I started making WWE / wrestling wallpapers in the first place is because of Eddie Guerrero. He represented a turning point in my life as well. A couple of my works in 2006 featured a tribute wallpaper for him (view the wallpaper here). He was definitely an influence and inspiration to get this site running for the past 9 years.
We all love Eddie. His wrestling work, his entertaining promos, his charisma – he had it all. I wish he was given a chance to keep entertaining us up to this day though. But you know, 10 years has passed and people still remember fond memories of him. How he ‘cheated’ to win and all that..he really was an amazing talent AND person. Imagine if he’s still here with us. The matchups against the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns etc. He would’ve made gold out of anyone he could’ve feuded or teamed up with.
You will always be in our minds and in our hearts Eddie. 10 years after, you’re still missed. Viva Eddie Guerrero.
To make this short, these were my entries to 2K’s WWE 2K14 Cover Contest. I know it’s a long shot for me to win but I tried my luck anyway. It was fun making these covers, really. The hi-res wrestler images were superb and amazing. Hopefully, 2K will release some sort of artbook or a collection of these custom covers submitted for the contest and these 2 can make it to that compilation.

CM Punk and Chris Jericho, as expected, had the best technical wrestling match at WrestleMania 28. These 2 definitely wanted to steal the show though HHH-Undertaker is up there as well. Punk and Y2J told a great story, especially at the start of the match, with Punk trying to contain his anger so he won’t get disqualified (he’ll lose the title that way) and Jericho egging him on to do it. Both competitors brought their A game and they didn’t disappoint. With Jericho tapping to the Anaconda Vice, CM Punk proved to everyone that he truly is the Best In The World now.
As I did with The Rock, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers congratulates CM Punk for retaining his WWE Championship and cementing himself as the Best In The World today.

WrestleMania 28, Once In A Lifetime, The Rock has conquered John Cena on one of the most anticipated battles/main events in WWE history. What’s next for The Rock? A challenge from Brock as rumors say maybe started as soon as this Monday night’s RAW. Film movies right away? And what’s next for Cena? How will he take this loss? Will he still rise above hate or finally embrace it? So much questions needed to be addressed. Hopefully some of these get answered soon.
After facing and beating probably his toughest opponent yet, The Rock finally solidifies himself again as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, by claiming WrestleMania victories over the likes of Austin, Hogan and now, Cena. He’s not passing the torch just yet. Cena may have to do something drastic to snatch that torch from The People’s Champion.
Congratulations again Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson! Make no mistake about it, both men deserved to win..but on this event, it was Rocky’s day.
