Prolly the biggest swerve of the year, Edge was kicked out of the very group that he started. Finn Balor joining, and perhaps leading the Judgment Day stable is interesting. I’ll reserve judgment (pun intended) until The Prinxe can prove that he’s a capable leader and most especially, a commanding voice for the group. Finn taking the team to the next level will be the very basis of success of this diabolical move. His Demon persona fits the attitude of Judgment Day, so that helps.
I’m both excited and nervous as far as the stable’s future goes. The twist was quite sudden, transitioning Edge back to a face role (c/o Cody Rhodes injury). I hope they don’t go down the Retribution route. Potential for greatness is still there for Judgment Day, despite the quick leadership change.
The Goddess is back! Like how there’s still a hint of darkness in Alexa Bliss’ attitude and persona, as long as there’s no magic or supernatural stuff from Lily, we should be good. You might think she’d be a good fit for Edge’s Judgment Day stable because of this mysteriousness in her, but I disagree. She’s already established and there’s little benefit for her if she does join the group. I might be wrong though, especially if WWE can make it work. For now, we’re just glad Little Miss Bliss is here to grace WWE programming again.
Here’s a treat for everyone who’s waiting for some post-WrestleMania 38 wallpaper goodness: combined WWE wallpapers featuring both the hottest names in the wrestling world today—Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes! We’re sure to see these two face each other down the road, as these 2 will likely be feuding by the time WWE SummerSlam rolls around. The American Nightmare might just be the one who finally dethrones the Tribal Chief, and brings home the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to the Rhodes family.
Sooooo…is it gonna be Cody Rhodes as Mr. McMahon’s pick versus Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 38?? Rumors are running rampant that he’s already signed, and it’s just a matter of time before we see the American Nightmare in WWE, coming back at the biggest stage. Hopefully it won’t be a swerve and we do see someone previously prominent in AEW actually jump ship the other way around. And of course, not as Stardust please.
Seth Rollins has been hot lately, and I really dig the storyline he had these past weeks, ‘jumping on hoops’ as Mr. McMahon said just to get a match at WrestleMania 38. The culmination of that should be none other than a match with Cody. Anything other than that would probably a disappointment to many of the fans who are expecting it to happen. And as much as Veer Mahaan is on a Twitter/IWC roll, Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes is the way to go.
Whether you love him or you hate him, no one can deny the contributions this man has done in the realm of WWE, both during his in-ring competition, and his black and gold NXT.
Owens’ impersonation of Austin from last night’s RAW was STUPENDOUS!
The pops for both Stone Cold’s entrance theme during the segment reminded everyone how influential and still relevant Steve Austin to this day. No one in the current era of WWE Superstars garners an organic reception like that, not even Roman Reigns. With Kevin Owens ruffling the feathers (or scaless?) of the Texas Rattlesnake even more, expect something more than a stunner coming for KOmania.
The brilliant segment had me getting inspired to pause the one I’m working on, and do a quick poster and mobile wallpaper of this Owens 3:16! Get it now for your mobile screens!
