What’s in store for Roman Reigns in 2025?
There’s a real possibility now that Roman Reigns will be switched to Monday Night RAW, with Netflix insisting they get him when WWE starts streaming in 2025. The angle they’ve brought up on SmackDown will surely see Gunther going to SmackDown as well, especially if Cody Rhodes also gets bagged by Netflix. Other WWE Superstars will follow suit, with American Made already being transferred to SmackDown and Carmelo Hayes teasing a switch to RAW.
Roman Reigns could immediately target Royal Rumble and go on to challenge Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 for Reigns-Rhodes III. We could see a face Roman go against a newly-turned Cody at that event, which is surely an intriguing prospect.

Whether it’s Back for Blood or Blood for Blood, Rhea Ripley accomplished her revenge against Liv Morgan at Survivor Series. It won’t end there though, as she’s surely to go for the Women’s World Heavyweight Championship again. Liv’s world is getting smaller, with Iyo Sky slated for a title shot, Tiffany Stratton possibly cashing her MITB briefcase, and Rhea Ripley stopping at nothing to regain the title.

Paul Heyman has orchestrated his genius masterplan: have CM Punk become the 5th member of Team OG Bloodline. Roman Reigns doesn’t like it, but he has no choice. His face-to-face meeting with CM Punk this past Smackdown confirmed that scenario. Paul Heyman has reminded both that they need to just work together for 1 night and at best, survive. Or else, Solo effectively eliminates the OG Bloodline, and goes after CM Punk next.
CM Punk seemingly made a mysterious deal with Paul Heyman, a favor that will surely benefit the Second City Saint at some point. The question is, will it be detrimental to the OTC? A lot of fans are speculating a betrayal will happen at Survivor Series Wargames, and it might come from none other than Roman Reigns’ Wiseman himself, Paul Heyman. Will CM Punk’s favor have something to do with it? We’ll know in a few hours from now.

Solo Sikoa just cost Seth Rollins his match agains Bronson Reed at RAW. We thought it’s almost a foregone conclusion that Seth will team up with the OG Bloodline, even reluctantly, just to get back at Bronson Reed and Solo Sikoa. But alas, The Wiseman had other plans. 2 words: CM Punk!
The new Bloodline of Solo Sikoa had became much nastier with Bronson Reed being added in the fold, but the team of Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn and CM Punk is also up there with the best teams in Survivor Series history. It’s an interesting dynamic, because CM Punk doesn’t fit the glove of the OG Bloodline, and just doing it for Paul Heyman. It’s outside Roman’s comfort zone, and that’s why it should possibly make for compelling television before and after Survivor Series War Games.
There’s a lot of angles and continuity that can come out of this match, like how the CM Punk-Roman Reigns dynamic will be. This is important as it sets up a future feud between the 2 megastars. Also, will Jacob Fatu still thank the heavens above and love Solo Sikoa with all his life if they lose this Bloodline war?? 🤣 And don’t forget The Final Boss, just ‘lurking’ in the shadows for now, but will certainly make his presence felt soon—possibly right after the War Games match.

The Wyatt Sicks are currently feuding with Miz and The Final Testament. Karrion Kross and The Miz have formed a formidable alliance, and have given the Wyatt Sicks their first (and worst) beating yet. Bo Dallas and co. are sure to plot their revenge in the coming weeks. His vignette this week even showed how he’s fully channeling his inner Bray Wyatt. The resemblance is uncanny!
With the Bloodline saga dominating WWE TV, I just hope that this program still picks up steam at some point. The Wyatt Sicks haven’t been around lately, and so they have to do something big again to catch up and build some much-needed momentum. A lot of fans nowadays have little patience with long-term character development and storytelling, and Uncle Howdy and the Wyatt Sicks don’t have that luxury anymore. They need to get hot, fast.

OG Bloodline vs. new Bloodline / Bloodline 2.0 has been officially scheduled as War Games match in this year’s hotly anticipated Survivor Series. Sami Zayn being welcomed back to the original Bloodline family, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns have closed the gap and evened the odds. We’re only missing the Wiseman, Paul Heyman, to give some timely advice and strategy and the OG Bloodline family is roaring to go! Solo and his Bloodline are ready to throw hands as well.
With the match set as 5vs5, it’ll be interesting to see if Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins are really the final men to join these groups, as there might be a swerve in the next SmackDown and RAW episodes to throw us off. However, I personally wouldn’t mind having Seth Rollins join forces once again with Roman Reigns for 1 night, with their history and tension between these 2 megastars.

Cody Rhodes is currently involved in an intriguing angle, wherein he’s kind of a side character for now. Main characters are Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, embroiled in a heated feud that should escalate soon to involving Cody Rhodes. Kevin Owens has accused both Rhodes and Orton turned on him, so there might be something in there. Whatever it is, WWE is planning something major, and should make Cody Rhodes the center of attention again.
With Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn and the Bloodline 2.0 civil war as the focal point in WWE right now, Cody Rhodes detractors have grown louder in recent months. Some fans have speculated a heel turn, but he’s just started with his Super Cena run so that might not happen soon. Triple H likes to play the (long) game, so perhaps that heel run ain’t coming until 2026 I guess. The latest would be sometime WrestleMania 41 season, if Rhodes vs. Reigns III comes to fruition.
