What difference a year makes. Suddenly, the youth movement within WWE has slowly yet steadily started moving again. The obvious beneficiaries of these pushes would definitely be the ones featured in today’s wrestling wallpaper: Drew McIntyre as the Intercontinal Champion, The Miz as the United States Champion and of course, Sheamus as the WWE Champion (aka Cena killer). These guys, with the exception of The Miz to a certain extent, haven’t been that really over with the crowd but were already given HUGE pushes that hopefully they can carry for a long time. They will certainly need these kinds of opportunities to further build their character and wrestling skills so let’s hope they don’t screw themselves around like some did before. Come to think of it, these three guys teamed up on last year’s WWE Survivor Series and their team beat Team Morrison, not to mention that all three of them were the last ones standing in that bout. It boosted their values and now, they’re dominating both SmackDown! and RAW.
Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers presents the second WWE wallpaper for 2010 featuring the rising young champions in the WWE today: Drew McIntyre, The Miz and Sheamus! They’re our next-gen champs and they deserve respect no matter what..although I’m extremely annoyed by The Miz. Click here for last year’s Next-Gen Champions wallpaper

Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH Jenna Walker for making this WrestleMania 26 dream card for me. Granted a lot has changed since last year, both in terms of talent availability and storylines, I would still think this has a potential to be a good WrestleMania card, especially the triple threat match between Edge, Chris Jericho and CM Punk (c). If I have to add another match, obviously that would be Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon in a street fight. Again, thanks for the custom vid Jenna! Here’s my WrestleMania 26 match card:
January 4, 2009 will either mark a new beginning of WWE vs. TNA..or it’ll be just another weekly WWE domination. Yes, wrestling fans are all excited about the Monday wars again, if it’ll come to fruition that is. Imagine, TNA’s AJ Styles, Angle, Wolfe etc. showcasing their talents on prime time against WWE’s Cena, Orton, DX, etc.? It’ll surely make WWE up the ante in their RAW programming and that can only mean good things for both wrestling promotions and of course, the fans. We’re all winners in this so I really wish this will start a hot feud between the most popular wrestling promotions in the world today. We might see another golden era in professional wrestling.
As my year-ender for everyone, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers presents this awesome RAW vs. iMPACT! wallpaper featuring all the top stars in each Monday night brand. Again, you can download the wallpaper for free!
Happy holidays to everyone who has followed Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers through all its 3-year existence I’m really grateful to your continued support..I swear I do See ya guys next year!
Breaking into the RAW scene just a month ago, Sheamus has already made a HUGE impact on the Monday Night brand. After “ending” Jamie Noble’s wrestling career, this guy was quickly given a WWE Championship shot against John Cena. Personally, I think Kofi Kingston should’ve been the number one conterder..then again, he’s in a tight feud with Randy Orton right now so it won’t make much sense. Other than Kofi, MVP would’ve been a good choice too, although he’s on a funk right now (yet again). So that really brings us to Sheamus. Deserving of a major title shot or not, he certainly brings a breath of fresh air in the main event scene. Before him, it was either Orton, HHH or HBK that were contending for the WWE Championship and frankly, it has gotten stale. Sheamus doesn’t have a chance of winning the title on WWE TLC PPV, but at least he’ll give Cena a legit challenge.
Let’s hope WWE will build up this feud just right. Sheamus aura is all good right now but even though his skin color shines like a sun to many, he won’t be shining any top championships anytime soon.
