My favorite wrestling show is still growing strong on its 10th anniversary and that’s why Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is celebrating Smackdown’s decade of excellence with this brand new wrestling wallpaper featuring the past, present and future of WWE Smackdown!
It all started from The Rock’s lil’ catchphrase that ends in something like “..proceed to check your candy ass into the Smackdown Hotel!” From there, WWE gave birth to the show by having it as a single TV special that aired on April 29, 1999. Then it became a weekly show aired every Thursdays (and now, Fridays) in which, at first, helped continue storylines from WWE RAW then became a brand extension on its later years. Since then, it has become a show that gave more importance to pure wrestling than controversial to absurd storylines usually found on RAW (except for some storylines like the Edge-Vickie marriage of course).
Even though Vince McMahon still favors RAW up to now, the show had its fair share of Superstar powers through the years like The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Triple H and Jeff Hardy. Smackdown also produced the badass version of John Cena (which I truly wish to come back) and the powerhouse Brock Lesnar. Rey Mysterio cemented his legacy in SmackDown! as we all know. Midcarders were able to get a lot of opportunities to shine like JBL, John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin (he failed though), and the Hardyz of course. Also, who could forget the late and legendary Eddie Guerrero?
With that said, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers presents the brand-spanking new 10th Anniversary Smackdown wallpaper! Go ahead and download it today!
NOTE: I’ve ditched the 1366×768 resolution in favor of 1440×900 resolution (for Mac users) Enjoy!
Finally, Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers presents its first-ever TNA Wrestling wallpaper! Yey! You can say this one’s long overdue already Admittedly, I ain’t a big fan of TNA Wrestling, not because of the wrestling show itself or the wrestlers, but maybe it still has a feel of WCW..or the announcers..I really dunno. But the wrestling in this company is at world-class level. It’s total nonstop action indeed. Whether it’s the X Division or the middle/heavyweight division, they bring a lot to the table. Fast-paced action really captivates the eyes of every wrestling fan, and TNA provides a lot of that. Add those TNA Knockouts(divas) to the mix and you got yourselves an awesome wrestling show.
Btw, this TNA iMPACT! wallpaper features the following wrestlers and knockouts: LAX (Latin American Exchange - Konnan, Homicide and Hernandez), The James Gang / Voodoo Kin Mafia (BG and Kip James - remember The New Age Outlaws?), current (NWA) TNA World Tag Team Champions Team 3D (Brother Devon and Brother Ray with Brother Runt - Dudleyz/Dudley Boyz in the WWE before), the current TNA X Division Champion Chris Sabin, The Phenomenal AJ Styles, Samoa Joe (he’s gonna kill you), the wrestling machine Kurt Angle (oh how I miss this guy in the WWE), the enigmatic Sting, Petey Williams (who owns the most badass finisher in the business today - the Canadian Destroyer), Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, Eric Young, King of the Mountain Jeff Jarrett, the monster Abyss, current (NWA) TNA World Heavyweight Champion - Captain Charisma Christian Cage, The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels, the man-beast Rhino, Jackie Gayda, Leticia, Ms. Brooks, Christy Hemme (former WWE Diva Search winner) and Gail Kim. Whew! These guys are just few of the reasons why you should try watching TNA. Hopefully, TNA can compete with WWE (in the same level of atmosphere/popularity that is) someday to provide a good alternative for wrestling fans. Competition is always good for any business.
