It all started from The Rock’s lil’ catchphrase that ends in something like “..proceed to check your candy ass into the Smackdown Hotel!” From there, WWE gave birth to the show by having it as a single TV special that aired on April 29, 1999. Then it became a weekly show aired every Thursdays (and now, Fridays) in which, at first, helped continue storylines from WWE RAW then became a brand extension on its later years. Since then, it has become a show that gave more importance to pure wrestling than controversial to absurd storylines usually found on RAW (except for some storylines like the Edge-Vickie marriage of course).
Even though Vince McMahon still favors RAW up to now, the show had its fair share of Superstar powers through the years like The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Triple H and Jeff Hardy. Smackdown also produced the badass version of John Cena (which I truly wish to come back) and the powerhouse Brock Lesnar. Rey Mysterio cemented his legacy in SmackDown! as we all know. Midcarders were able to get a lot of opportunities to shine like JBL, John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin (he failed though), and the Hardyz of course. Also, who could forget the late and legendary Eddie Guerrero?

GAME TIME! I personally want to see this match although there’s no chance for a King Booker win (we all know why). We’ll probably see a Bionic Triple H - meaning there’ll no way he’ll job to anybody anymore LOL. Anyway, this match will unofficially determine the true king (of kings). Hopefully we’ll see a lot of King Booker’s offense before he finally (and sadly) goes down in this match.
First of all, BIG THANKS to everyone for the praises and to everyone who has supported this site. Really, all the hard work had been justified just by you guys visiting this wrestling wallpaper blog. So I took this opportunity to make a new WWE wrestling wallpaper (Wrestlemania 23-themed wallpaper if I may remind). This one’s the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match at Wrestlemania 23. You may notice that Randy Orton is included even though the 8th participant has yet to be named as of this writing. Well, I really believe it’s going to be him as the last wrestler to be included in that match (Carlito’s also a possibility but I wouldn’t count on that `coz of his current storyline with Ric Flair). BUT, he’s not gonna win it. IT HAS TO BE MR. KENNEDEEHHH!! LOL yeah he’s my favorite WWE superstar alright, everyone knows that by now

Sorry guys for the lack of updates. I’ve been very very VERY busy these past few days..well I’m back again! With a WWE Smackdown! Superstars wrestling wallpapers no less This wallpaper features Gregory Helms, Matt Hardy, Kane, Chavo Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, the tag team of Brian Kendrick and Paul London, The Boogeyman, Mr. Ken Kennedy (personal favorite haha), The Undertaker, Finlay, Chris Benoit, King Booker T with Queen Sharmell and last but not the least, the World Heavyweight Champion, Dave Batista . Just like what JBL say all the time, WWE Smackdown! is changing Friday nights!
By the way, I’m planning on expanding this site by putting up more sections like Ms. Linda Robin’s (a popular Internet wrestling columnist) wrestling column Linda’s Thoughts, voting polls, avatars and other wrestling-related stuff. I’ve already put up a poll (see previous post) from NoDQ.com to start the expansion. Just check this site time and again for more upcoming updates
