Sorry for the late wallpaper post yet again. My broadband connection went down two days ago due to another super typhoon attack here in our country so I wasn’t able to post this new Batista wrestling wallpaper right away. Again, sorry for the inconvenience.
Finally, Batista has turned heel (unlike someone named John Cena) and for me, his thing (not in a gay way) with Rey Mysterio is the most interesting storyline in WWE Smackdown right now. I remember Batista saying in a recent interview that he thinks that WWE is wasting Mysterio’s talent. Well, with the brutal attack he did on Rey at WWE Bragging Rights, Batista has made things interesting again not only for Mr. 619 but for himself as well. His character has been stale for some time now so he really needed a change of attitude *ehem John Cena ehem*. Props to everyone involved in making this happen. I can’t wait for this feud to turn into a brutal war.
Btw, this WWE wallpaper shows a truck running into a car and totally crushed it. That’s how Batista was like to Rey. Mysterio didn’t see the attack coming and because of that, the Animal has unleashed his rage all over him with so much ease. Matt Hardy didn’t escape Batista’s wrath too (as seen on the previous SmackDown! episode).

It all started from The Rock’s lil’ catchphrase that ends in something like “..proceed to check your candy ass into the Smackdown Hotel!” From there, WWE gave birth to the show by having it as a single TV special that aired on April 29, 1999. Then it became a weekly show aired every Thursdays (and now, Fridays) in which, at first, helped continue storylines from WWE RAW then became a brand extension on its later years. Since then, it has become a show that gave more importance to pure wrestling than controversial to absurd storylines usually found on RAW (except for some storylines like the Edge-Vickie marriage of course).
Even though Vince McMahon still favors RAW up to now, the show had its fair share of Superstar powers through the years like The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Triple H and Jeff Hardy. Smackdown also produced the badass version of John Cena (which I truly wish to come back) and the powerhouse Brock Lesnar. Rey Mysterio cemented his legacy in SmackDown! as we all know. Midcarders were able to get a lot of opportunities to shine like JBL, John Morrison, Shelton Benjamin (he failed though), and the Hardyz of course. Also, who could forget the late and legendary Eddie Guerrero?

Batista has been in and out of action for months now and sad to say, it hampers his momentum. A very good example of that is his most recent injury. He’s the current WWE Champion but I believe it won’t be for too long. That explains the attack on him by legacy this past Monday @ WWE RAW..he will be undergoing another surgery according to reports. Hopefully it’ll be minor just what most of the reporters are saying.
WWE has release a brand new t-shirt design for The Animal..it has representations of his different lineages (flags of Greece, US and Philippines I assume). Looks cool to me. For some reason, it reminds me of Manny Pacquiao shirts. Anyway, it looks to be a sure hit to die-hard Batista fans. Okay okay why the hell am I posting a Batista wallpaper when it’s already WrestleMania time? Let me explain first.
There’s this certain contest here in the Philippines where you’ll have the chance to meet and greet Batista in person this March. He’ll be visiting Manila again and I feel like I HAVE TO WIN this contest no matter what. I’m dying to meet in person one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. That’s why I’m posting this new Batista wallpaper that I will also have in print (2 days from now) so IF EVER I’ll be chosen as one of the lucky winners, hopefully, I can get an autograph using this wallpaper (again, in print of course) Haha

After a week of suspended hosting (GRR!), Kupy Wrestling Wallpapers is back with this kickass WWE wallpaper featuring the Superstars that will carry the company today and in the future. Two of the WWE’s biggest Superstars will be squaring off for the first time ever at this year’s SummerSlam PPV event. John Cena vs. Batista will be headlining this pay-per-view event I believe. It would be interesting to see if there’ll be clean finish between these two huge fan-favorites.
(Or will the crowd turn on both of them? That could turn into a HUGE disaster.)
I dunno if I should make WWE/TNA avatars again for this site..but to be honest, I really enjoyed making these 6 avatars that I’ll be featuring today. Thanks to the guys at MadForWrestling.co.uk, my interest in designing avatars came to life again. For now, yup, I’ll probably release more in the coming weeks/months..

The shock value of the recent WWE Draft has been good thus far. We saw MAJOR changes for each brand, the World Heavyweight Championship won by CM Punk, the unmovable Triple H finally going to WWE SmackDown!, ECW flushed down the toilet yet again and so much more. Vince McMahon indeed shook things up in the WWE right now and I have to admit, everything became interesting again. A breath of fresh air indeed for every WWE fan out there.
