This version of the New Day may have finally trumped Dom Mysterio’s heel heat. That segment with Kofi Kingston’s mom was friggin’ brilliant. HHH have rejuvenated not only Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, but Big E as well. I truly believe this will lead to Big E making a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble, or a much-anticipated (announced) return at WrestleMania 41. Big E may also have someone by his side to even the odds and ease the workload, maybe from NXT perhaps? Either NXT sensation Je’Von Evans or “The Ruler” himself, Oba Femi.
Kofi Kingston is killing it as a villain, I like how his promos are rant-ish. You can also see Xavier Woods sincerely having fun in this role. They’re naturals! If they can solidify this hot start, it can help to even the face-heel odds in WWE, which is currently being dominated by fan favorites. These guys, together with Big E, must be feeling giddy right now (not storyline-wise).

Solo Sikoa’s War Games Bloodline was already dominant, then Bronson Reed joined for War Games and made it even nastier. We must acknowledge this version of the team before year-end. GOATed!
I wouldn’t mind Bronson Reed officially being part of the group as an honorary member, much like how Sami Zayn is to the OG Bloodline. It’s not likely going to happen though, as he’s already on a warpath of his own before Survivor Series. Maybe they can revisit the partnership sometime in the far future.
Solo Sikoa vs. Roman Reigns for the Tribal Chief position on January 6 (RAW’s Netflix debut) is intriguing and will be a must-watch. With the OG Bloodline winning the War Games matchup, it’s not hard to see Solo taking this one and continuing his ascent to being a bonafide main eventer. Plus, it continues the story (I know some people are tired of it already lol) until The Rock makes his return and completes the puzzle. We’ll know if The Rock is the true mastermind behind the Bloodline civil war, or if Solo really took matters into his own hands.
Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed are currently out with injuries, so we’ll definitely see more focus on Tama Tonga and 2024 breakout star of the year Jacob Fatu as Solo Sikoa’s henchmen. The two men have already popular catchphrases: “YEYEYEYE” for Tama and “I LOVE YOU, SOLO!” for Jacob. Both are funny and should allow them to develop their characters more.
2024 has been really good for Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.

Why wait ’til WrestleMania 41 for these two to lock horns? I think it was a great call by HHH / WWE to make the match now while the iron is still hot. You can still have another Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk at WrestleMania, with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line (if Gunther stays on RAW), or even a triple threat if Cody Rhodes ends up bringing the WWE Championship to the red brand. Heck, even another HIAC for CM Punk if he’s open to it. With both men on the same brand, it’ll be quite hard to keep these two from destroying each other every week before WrestleMania 41—just watch their altercation on this week’s RAW episode.

WWE has been face-heavy for a couple of months now, especially with the whole OG Bloodline being faces now. So, along with Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura and Seth Rollins (turning soon), the team of Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa has joined the heel side as well. Ciampa teased going back solo and reviving his 2017 version for weeks, but Gargano revealed last week that he was in with the ruse. DIY are now the SmackDown tag team champs, effectively derailing the hot start of the Motor City Machine Guns. It was a much-needed character change for DIY, as they weren’t going places with their HHH-HBK gimmick. A lengthy reign should also do wonders for the duo.

What’s in store for Roman Reigns in 2025?
There’s a real possibility now that Roman Reigns will be switched to Monday Night RAW, with Netflix insisting they get him when WWE starts streaming in 2025. The angle they’ve brought up on SmackDown will surely see Gunther going to SmackDown as well, especially if Cody Rhodes also gets bagged by Netflix. Other WWE Superstars will follow suit, with American Made already being transferred to SmackDown and Carmelo Hayes teasing a switch to RAW.
Roman Reigns could immediately target Royal Rumble and go on to challenge Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 for Reigns-Rhodes III. We could see a face Roman go against a newly-turned Cody at that event, which is surely an intriguing prospect.

Whether it’s Back for Blood or Blood for Blood, Rhea Ripley accomplished her revenge against Liv Morgan at Survivor Series. It won’t end there though, as she’s surely to go for the Women’s World Heavyweight Championship again. Liv’s world is getting smaller, with Iyo Sky slated for a title shot, Tiffany Stratton possibly cashing her MITB briefcase, and Rhea Ripley stopping at nothing to regain the title.
